ACA is one of the districts aerial mapping contractors and was given the task of mapping a 18.8 mile section of the I-595 corridor between the I-75 Sawgrass Interchange on the west side all the way to I-95 on the east side.

LAMP was performed for the entire corridor in order to achieve the highest accuracy. Fixed wing flights were also needed to produce digital orthophotos.

Due to the many obscured areas, ground survey was used to supplement and then merged by ACA into the finished map product. ACA provided field support in editing the map content as well as support to survey team members. The process of merging field collected data and aerial mapped data is a standard procedure now performed by ACA.
